Campaigners gathered outside Olive Morris House in Brixton yesterday afternoon, demanding that evicted mother of two Clavia Chambers be immediately rehoused.
The council reacted by closing down by the entire building, despite numerous assurances from the protesters that they had no intention of occupying their offices.

As we reported earlier this week, Clavia and her two young children were evicted from their Brixton home and denied rehousing by Lambeth council. On Thursday, she re-occupied the flat she was evicted from as a protest against the council’s actions before the police removed her.
